What about Resolve 20 & future updates?
All relevant lessons have been updated from Resolve 19 to 20, ensuring full compatibility with the latest version. As new features are introduced in future updates, the course will be updated accordingly.
I've never used DaVinci Resolve... Is the course suitable for a complete newbie?
YES! We've had many users come in brand new. The course is systematically designed to teach from the ground up. If the occasional question arises, you can simply ask in the Discord Group and someone in the community, or I will personally answer questions! It does however only focus on COLOR GRADING and NOT on editing, fusion or fairlight.
Do I need any grading hardware / monitors to particpate?
NO! Even a laptop will do just fine. The course is designed to accommodate all users without the need for additional hardware!
Do I need any plug-ins or LUTs to follow along?
NO! The idea is that you don't have to make any additional purchases to complete the course. In some of the bonus lessons we focus on DCTLs & LUTs but they also come with special discount codes.
